The Birches Health Center at Plymouth’s premiere LifePlan community, Trillium Woods, has recently earned five-star ratings across the board from The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) across all categories – overall, staffing, health inspection, and quality measures.
“Earning five stars in each category is an achievement few senior living communities accomplish,” says Samantha Paider, Health Center Administrator at The Birches. “We deeply appreciate our associates in every department who work diligently each day to make this accomplishment possible. While The Birches’ long-term care and memory care are reserved primarily for Trillium Woods’ residents, Plymouth-area seniors can benefit from The Birches at Trillium Woods’ 5-star short-term rehabilitation services as they recover from surgeries and illness.
“Our certified physical, occupational, and speech therapists work diligently with the nursing and interdisciplinary team to get residents back to their lives quickly. We love to see residents graduate from our program and return home to the activities they love.”
Short-term rehabilitation patients also benefit from The Birches’ full schedule of 8 Dimensions of Wellness programming, which includes fun and interesting activities and events that foster emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness. Patients are welcome to participate in activities as often as they care to — or to enjoy recuperation on their own, relaxing in their own private suite.
