Plymouth Local Attractions
Just ten miles northwest of downtown Minneapolis, Plymouth, the home of Trillium Woods, provides an ideal location from which to explore fascinating local attractions. The city of Plymouth, in fact, has made establishing a first-rate park system and creating interconnecting bike and hiking trails top priorities. This effort, combined with the building of diverse recreational facilities, attracts and retains residents who are active outdoor enthusiasts. There are, in fact, 80 miles of trails and more than 1,000 acres of park land in the city.
The Begin
Oaks Golf Course is a public course that is adjacent to Trillium
Woods. It is known for its towering oaks, evergreens and natural
wetlands. It is considered a mid-length, nine-hole course, just
under 3,000 yards long and very senior friendly.
Located
less than five miles from the site, The
Shoppes at Arbor Lakes are organized as an outdoor mall with
a main street that runs down the center and parking is available
on each side of the street. Shops include Talbots, William Sonoma,
Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Bath and Body Works, Pottery Barn
and Sharper Image. The Shoppes also feature a nice variety of
restaurants such as P.F. Chang's, Biaggi's, California Pizza Kitchen
and Granite City Food and Brewery.
